Our Work
Clear Horizon acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and acknowledges and pays respect to their Elders, past and present.
Mutsumi Karasaki is a Principal Consultant in Clear Horizon’s Social Impact team. As an experienced anthropologist/sociologist, he is passionate about building an inclusive and caring society through collaboration and co-design. Having completed a PhD in Public Health, Mutsumi has spent the last 15 years involved in projects both nationally and internationally in wide ranging areas including lived experience of chronic conditions and disability, deafness, mental health and wellbeing, spousal care, social contexts of alcohol and other drugs use, and early childhood care. Along with his extensive research experience and expertise in ethnographic methods and analysis, he brings skills in design thinking and participatory design.
Outside of work, Mutsumi loves food – both eating and cooking – and heading to the ocean for surfing to burn off the calories from delicious food he has eaten.
